The London International Horse Show (formerly Olympia) starts on Wednesday (13 December) at ExCel London and promises to be as exciting as ever. If you’re not able to head to the event in person, there are still ways you can soak up the atmosphere and follow the equestrian fun from the comfort of your sofa.

More than 10 hours of live action will be available to UK viewers via the BBC – on BBC 2 and across its digital platforms, including iplayer and the red button. Within this will be the Dressage World Cup Freestyle to Music on the evening of Thursday 14 December, the Puissance on the evening of Friday 15 December, the World Cup Jumping on the afternoon of Sunday 17 December and the whole of the Monday Evening Performance including The London Grand Prix.

The show has World Cup classes in dressage, jumping and driving and all of which will be shown live on FEI TV via their pay-to-view service. Further information on how to access, both from the UK and internationally, can be found at feitv.org.

All of the classes, including those in the New Horizon Plastics London Arena, not shown by either the BBC or FEI will be streamed live on Horse & Country via the channel’s worldwide subscription service. Viewers from across the world can watch both live, and on-demand, via an H&C+ membership or by their pay-per-view service. Coverage will vary depending on viewers’ country of residence, visit horseandcountry.tv for the full schedule.

“We are delighted to confirm that the BBC will broadcast the show,” said Show Director, Simon Brooks-Ward. “Being able to broadcast some of our pinnacle classes on the BBC, providing free-to-view coverage across the UK, is vital to the show and the wider sport as a whole. The show continues to be the most watched indoor equestrian event in the United Kingdom, and with more action than ever before, we cannot wait to provide exceptional entertainment to viewers across the world.”
