Nominations are now open for the HAPPA’s (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) 2024 welfare awards. Celebrating champions in promoting the best care of a horse, HAPPA welcomes nominations for individuals who demonstrate outstanding dedication to equine welfare.

The charity invites supporters and the general public to recognise and commend those passionate about improving the lives of horses and ponies that have suffered from cruelty and neglect.

Winners will be celebrated at an awards ceremony in November 2024 at HAPPA’s Shores Hey Farm in Burnley.

“It is essential to acknowledge those in the equine welfare industry who deserve recognition,” said Sarah Arthur, HAPPA’s Chief Executive Officer. “Hard work and determination often go unnoticed. Let’s change that by nominating those worthy individuals. The nomination process is simple and will surely brighten someone’s day.”
