About Us
Your Horse is committed to providing top-notch content that keeps horse lovers, owners and riders alike informed and entertained, while sharing the knowledge and skills you need to learn, improve and enjoy all things equine.
Brought to you by experienced editors and journalists who are also lifelong horse owners and riders, Your Horse showcases the latest gear for both horse and rider, with independent testers reviewing products and giving honest reviews. Our news, training, veterinary and horse care sections aim to inspire new ideas for you to try in the saddle as well as educate, so that you can care for your horse to the best of your ability.
Our magazine is published every four weeks (13 times a year) and is filled with motivational content from the best riders, trainers, experts and vets in the business. From the seasoned competitor through to leisure riders and everyone in between, Your Horse has something for all.
We are the only equine brand to dedicate time and space to hacking — and targeting the masses of riders who do not compete — in every single magazine issue, as well as digitally through #Hack1000Miles. Our unique challenge celebrates this hugely valuable, yet often underrated discipline — and helps us engage with new people every single day.
Every November, Your Horse comes to life at Your Horse Live, the biggest and best equine shopping show in the UK. Featuring demos, talks and interviews with the best riders, trainers and experts in the world, it’s a must for every horse lover’s diary.
Meet the Team
Aimi Clark, Head of Digital Content
Aimi has been lucky enough to own and ride horses ever since she was a little girl. Her horsey genes come from her father’s side, where family members have ridden for generations.
Aimi became editor of Your Horse in January 2018, after more than 10 years working on other top equestrian titles. She has reported at World Equestrian Games, European Championships, the London Olympics and top-level events as far away as Australia.
In July 2022, due to exciting growth of Your Horse’s digital platforms — including this website — Aimi stepped away from editing the magazine in order to solely focus her time and efforts on running Your Horse Online.
Aimi has a soft spot for Thoroughbreds and has retrained more than 10 ex-racehorses straight out of training — the majority of them having been purchased from Ascot Sales. She loves hacking and fun rides, so she’s the best person to spearhead our #Hack1000Miles campaign.
Aimi’s riding background is in point-to-pointing and eventing. Her family trained pointers for many years in Devon and she has competed in all Riding Club activities and grassroots level eventing. These days, though, she is mostly found hacking out or watching from the side-lines and acting as groom and lorry driver for her sister.

Julie Harding, Magazine Editor
Julie started running Your Horse magazine in July 2022. She has also ridden since the age of five and currently owns four equines of varying sizes, two of them World Horse Welfare rescue ponies.
Julie previously ran Eventing magazine for 11 years. During Julie’s time at the helm of this specialist title, Julie reported three Olympic Games and numerous other championships and high-profile events, as well as writing countless features and news stories. In total, she worked on Eventing for 21 years, developing a deep understanding of equestrian journalism and the horse world in general.
For four years, Julie edited farming title Country Smallholding, which is also owned by Kelsey Publishing. She is enjoying working on magazine pages filled with horses once again!

Please send press releases to both Aimi and Julie.
Emma Bedford, Event Director
Emma oversees the organisation and running of our annual show Your Horse Live which is held at Stoneleigh Park in November. To contact her, email emma.bedford@kelsey.co.uk
Rachael Turner, News Writer
Rachael is a freelance journalist who has a decade of experience working for equestrian and lifestyle publications. She trained at the Press Association and worked for regional papers as a reporter before combining her passion for horses with journalism.
The mother-of-two has an all-rounder cob and enjoys everything from dressage and jumping to fun rides and hacking. She also loves long-distance running and completed London Marathon for World Horse Welfare and Royal Parks Half Marathon for Brooke.
Rachael writes most of the news stories that you read on Your Horse’s website. To contact her, email rachaelmaryturnerhook@gmail.com

Catherine Crockart, Advertising Manager
Catherine has owned five horses in her lifetime, from a Shetland pony (who was a little monkey!) to a Thoroughbred.
She no longer rides due to having a serious accident in 2012, but she still loves to be around horses and helps out a couple of people by giving their retired/non ridden horses and ponies a pamper and going for lovely walks in hand.
Catherine also sponsors the lovely Hamish from The Horse Trust.
Besides horses, Catherine loves anything with a leg on each corner. She lives with her Labradoodle Bertie and two cats, a Maine Coon and Norwegian Forrest — oh, and her husband George!
