Aimi is the editor of Your Horse. She has worked in equestrian journalism for more than 20 years and has owned and ridden horses all her life. She believes that helping owners better understand how horses think, learn and communicate leads to kinder training, stronger partnerships and better welfare, and these are the subjects she's most passionate about covering. Growing up on a farm in Devon, Aimi was a member of Tetcott & South Tetcott Pony Club, joining with her first pony, a New Forest called Prudence, before moving on to a Danish Warmblood, Marcus. She competed in all disciplines but particularly enjoyed eventing, and later went on to rehome and retrain more than 10 ex-racehorses, as well as dabbling in point-to-pointing. Now a mum of two, Aimi can often be found hacking her Thoroughbred through the Oxfordshire countryside while flying the flag for Your Horse's #Hack1000Miles challenge. Rumour has it that a pony (or two) could soon be joining the family…
