Janina Kutscha is a veterinary surgeon at Ardene House Practice Ltd in Aberdeen and an RCVS Advanced Practitioner for Equine Internal Medicine. Janina qualified as a vet in 2003 from the University of Munich in Germany. She then moved to South Africa to work in a large equine clinic near Johannesburg alongside research work for her PhD-equivalent degree, which she graduated in in 2008 with honours and was awarded the title Dr. med. vet. Janina has presented at equine veterinary conferences in the UK and the USA. She has been an FEI official and treatment veterinarian since 2012 for eventing. Janina has undergone extra veterinary training in photodynamic laser therapy and surgery, and has since developed this field at Ardene.
