Richard Bristow MRCVS works for Pinkham Equine Veterinary Services near Salisbury. He qualified as a vet at the Royal Veterinary College in 2005, and began work in Sussex before moving to Newmarket Equine Hospital, where he undertook a racing internship with Godolphin and spent time in Dubai. Richard has since worked for both the Chiltern Equine Clinic in Buckinghamshire and then B&W Equine in Gloucestershire before joining Pinkham Equine in 2018. He enjoys investigating the causes of lameness and poor performance in horses, and has a special interest in managing competition horses. Richard gained his certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Equine Lameness, Diagnosis and Therapeutics) in 2021. In 2022, he trained with the International Association of Veterinary Chiropractic and is now a qualified equine chiropractor.
