About
Ross Cooper of Rosca Horsemanship is a horsemanship trainer, coach, behavioural specialist and manual therapist. With a leading focus on whole-horse development, Ross has an intuitive style of horsemanship that embodies ‘connection through communication’, bridging the gap between behavioural science and intuition in modern-day horsemanship. From foundation training, behavioural rehabilitation and western riding through to ridden development, relational coaching and soft-tissue bodywork, Ross’s hands-on training and dynamic teaching is available to all breeds, disciplines and skill-sets. Ross has been fortunate enough to work alongside horses in the United States and in South Africa, gaining accreditation over the years as an equine behaviour consultant (EBC) with a complimentary Level 3 in equine psychology, continued development as as soft-tissue massage therapist for both humans and equines (SMT, cert. ESMT). He also holds two UKCC qualifications, including a Level 2 in Western Riding.
Based on the Derbyshire border and centrally located in the UK, Ross commutes Nationwide for private and group lessons, holding a number of clinics, demonstrations and workshops throughout the year.
