Adding additional layers under a horse’s rug is a great way to achieve extra warmth, and a rug liner does this job seamlessly. These are compatible layers that secure beneath a turnout rug via tabs, clips or velcro as an extra layer of insulation. Warmth is retained by changing or adding layers rather than taking off and putting on a completely different rug.
Liner systems also reduce the number of rugs you need, so require less storage that having separate rugs for every occasion.

The outer turnout rug has a long, concealed zip along the drip strip that can be opened to fix in the inner liners. On particularly cold days the two liners can be combined so that a 300g filling can be attached.
