#Hack1000Miles relaunched on 1 April and an updated tracker card was included with the May 2023 issue of Your Horse — a must-have for keeping a physical record of your miles. The team at Your Horse loves hacking and that’s why we are so excited about relaunching this campaign for another year — it’s free, it’s fun and everyone can take part. Our trio of sponsors provide the best in comfortable saddles, high vis clothing for horse and rider, plus a free tracking app to make recording your brilliant miles. These are essential must-haves for happy and safe hacking.

For finishers
Riding 1,000 miles is a fantastic achievement, and we want to celebrate it by giving riders who complete the challenge to win some incredible prizes!
We have three grand prizes up for grabs for riders who complete the challenge and hack 1,000 miles between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024. They will be added into a random prize draw with a chance to win:
- A Wintec saddle of the winner’s choice
- An Enduro Heart Rate Girth
- An Enduro-branded soft shell jacket
We also have prize bundles of headbands and snoods from Enduro to give away.
The best photo
When you’re hacking out for so many miles, you’re bound to come across some beautiful scenery, interesting sights, or have a photo taken of yourself riding. We love to see your adventures, so share them with us on the Hack 1,000 Miles Facebook group or email them to hack1000miles@gmail.com to share them with us.
Every month from 1 April, 2023 to 31 March, 2024 the Your Horse team will choose their favourite photo from a Hack 1,000 Miles challenge to win a neck strap from Equisafety.
The best story
No matter what you do with horses, there are always highs and lows. From knocked confidence or overcoming adversity, to the funny memories that bring a smile to your face, we love hearing about what you get up to during your challenge.
To celebrate this, the Your Horse team will choose their favourite story each month (from 1 April, 2023 to 31 October, 2023) to win prizes from Wintec Saddles. You just have to share your story on our Hack 1,000 Miles Facebook group or email us at hack1000miles@gmail.com.
How to enter
To join in with the challenge and be in with a chance of winning our incredible prizes, you just need to sign up – and the best part of all, it’s free!
You can tot up your miles with the free tracker card included in the May issue (504), on sale now. You just need to upload a photo of yourself with your tracker card to our Facebook group or email it to hack1000miles@gmail.com.
