I use NAF’s Extra Effect fly repellent every summer and find it really effective.
I collected my mare in from the field the other day and there were flies swarming all around her.
She was getting so agitated, but a few sprays of NAF soon sorted it – the flies disappeared instantly.
It lasts for the majority of the day, but I’d say you that you need to reapply twice a day to get the best effect.
I think it’s a fair price for the level of protection it offers for my horse – I usually get through one 750ml spray every two to three weeks in the height of summer.
