Tim and Jonelle Price have clinched the top two spots on the FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings.
Three and a half years since he last took the top spot of the charts, Kiwi Tim has claimed the premier position once again, replacing Britain’s Oliver Townend, who held the position for the last three years.
The 2019 World Champion, who won bronze at the World Championship in Italy a few weeks ago, was joined in the rankings by his wife, Jonelle, who now stands in second position.
Tim and Jonelle have a young family to juggle alongside their eventing career, making their achievements all the more impressive.
And to give the Prices even more to celebrate, their groom Kerryn Edmans, has been nominated in the Cavalor FEI Best Groom category of this year’s FEI Awards.
Team Price shared an emotive update with their fans to celebrate the good news yesterday (6 October).
Meanwhile, Oliver Townend has dropped to number three in the rankings, fellow Brit Rosalind Canter to fourth and US rider William Coleman closes the top five.
Great Britain’s Yasmin Ingham has moved up to eighth place after claiming the individual gold medal at the World Championship last month.
