There’s a real treat in store for eventing fans this weekend as the sporting calendar comes back to life after lockdown.
Throughout Saturday and Sunday (11 and 12 July) H&C+ will be live streaming all of the cross-country from Barbury Horse Trials as the season gets back under way.
With over 500 entries across BE100, Novice and Intermediate classes there’s non-stop action from 9am through until 7pm on both days.
Top riders entered include Tom McEwen, Harry Meade, Aaron Millar, Jonelle Price, Tim Price and Zara Tindall and many more besides.
Event rider and H&C presenter Cameron Beer will be on hand conducting interviews for H&C’s social channels, and will capture the riders’ thoughts on how it feels to be back in competitive action after such a long break, and their prospects for the rest of the season and beyond.
Jonathan Rippon, director of content for H&C commented: “We are delighted to see the return of live sport and to be able to bring such a high quality event as Barbury to our viewers. We’re working alongside event organisers and governing bodies as the calendar is re-planned, and will be announcing a lot more live coverage very soon. Watch this space.”
H&C’s coverage from Barbury is sponsored by Baileys Horse Feeds. Jane Buchan, marketing manager for Baileys added: “Along with the whole equestrian community the team at Baileys have felt the loss of live sport so we’re delighted to partner with H&C in bringing Barbury to eventing fans.”
In addition to the live stream, the Barbury coverage will be available in full on demand on H&C+ after the event.
