The winners of the Comedy Pet Photo Awards for 2021 have been revealed.
The competition called on animal lovers to submit hilarious photos and videos of their pets for a chance to win £2,000. The competition featured seven categories, including dog, horse, and cat, with one overall winner. Ten photographers were also recognised as highly commended for their entries.
The competition supported pet welfare charity Animal Support Angels, who received £10,000 thanks to competition partner Animals Friends Insurance.
“The amazing donation from the competition has been an absolute lifeline for the charity, and every penny received will be used to help animals in need,” said Amanda Broome, founder-trustee at Animal Support Angels. “We don’t let animals suffer and will always help if we can.
“As well as being an uplifting source of joy and hilarity, this funny pet photo competition has also helped to improve the lives of thousands of animals across the country and beyond,” Amanda added.
