Your Horse is seeking a freelance content producer to join its editorial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a horse lover with experience of writing for print and digital platforms to contribute regular content to one of the UK’s leading equestrian titles.
It’s a really exciting time to become part of Your Horse’s freelancing team. The brand already speaks to hundreds of thousands of equine lovers across its print and digital platforms. In line with the relaunch of its new website, we want to expand and grow so that we can deliver even more top-quality, essential content, and the freelance content producer will be essential to helping that happen.
About you
You will live and breathe horses, and probably have ridden for most of your life too. A deep understanding and knowledge of horses, as well as the desire to keep an eye on what’s going on in the equine world, is a must. You will have experience of writing for print and online consumer media, although this doesn’t have to have been within equestrian media. Great contacts within the horsey world is also very handy in this line of work. Lots of ideas for great content is essential.
About us
Your Horse’s editorial team is made up of hard working, dedicated freelancers, led by Aimi Clark, who has more than 14 years experience in equestrian media. We all work from home and enjoy regular trips out (Covid allowing) for photoshoots and to attend events. As the team works in a freelance capacity, diaries are flexible and everyone is free to work on other projects too (or go riding!).
Initially this is a 12-month contract, with the potential to extend.
To find out more and apply, please send your details (including CV) to Aimi Clark by emailing aimi.clark@kelsey.co.uk by Monday 24 May. Remember to tell us why you’re suitable and how much time you have available for freelancing.
We look forward to hearing from you!
