Help support the equine cause closest to your heart by nominating for them to be Harry Hall’s charity partners in 2022.
This year’s charities, The Horse Trust, the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) and Brooke, have benefitted from £11,800 in donations to date.
During 2021, anyone who joined the Harry Hall One Club, took out a new insurance policy or shopped at harryhall.com triggered a donation to the charity fund. Customers also had the option to make their own donation at the checkout.
In May and June, Harry Hall also doubled the donations to the three charity partners, and in June, the company raised over £9,000 with a charity raffle. The company also plans to double the donations to the charities in December.
Continuing to help horses
Harry Hall’s contribution to The Horse Trust has helped them to continue to support over 140 horses in their care.
Since March 2020, the charity lost more than £120,000 in income as a result of cancelled events and the temporary closure of the charity’s visitor centre, due to the pandemic.
With the support from Harry Hall, The Horse Trust has been able to continue to provide specialised treatment for serious horse injuries which often require expensive or additional antibiotics, wound dressings, casts, special bedding, pain killers and X-rays.
The selection for the 2022 partners begins with the nomination period, between 29 November and 15 December, when members of the public can name the registered charity they feel deserves some extra support from Harry Hall on the Harry Hall Facebook page or via the website.
On 17 December the retailer will announce a shortlist of 10 and then it will be down to a public vote to decide the final winning charities. Voting will be on the Harry Hall Facebook page or via the website.
The winning charities will be announced on Christmas Eve.
