In just over two weeks Harry Hall has received almost 3,000 nominations in its #harryhallheroes campaign.

“We have been both amazed and humbled by the number of nominations for clubs, venues and yards. The past few months have not been easy on the equestrian community and life is still filled with uncertainty, even with the relaxing of lockdown restrictions. So, we are delighted to announce that we are tripling the prize package and we’re giving equestrians longer to nominate,” said managing director Liz Hopper.

A few of the nominations so far:

“It’s a wonderful environment for children who wouldn’t have horses in their lives otherwise to gain interest and experience.”

“The staff are amazing with riders of all levels and abilities. They work with tiny tots, children with autism, older people, and everyone in between. The ponies and horses are extremely well looked after and love their jobs. Ponies are rescued from the local RSPCA and given a new lease of life. Competitions and fun days are run regularly for all of the customers and liveries and it’s just an amazing place to be involved in.”

A shout out to riding schools – one riding school received this nomination: “It is a family run riding school and livery yard. It’s a friendly and welcoming yard that has been running for 30 years. I learned to ride there in 1990 and have never left. Lockdown has been very tough, but they are persevering”

What’s on offer?

The nominations will now run until 22 July, with three separate 12-month support packages to be won. One winning competition venue, one yard and one riding club will each be awarded a package consisting of:

Every nomination will receive a complimentary Bronze membership of the Harry Hall One Club, worth £10. Each week, Harry Hall will send out on the spot prizes to those who have nominated valued between £10 – £50.
