If you can’t make this year’s MARS Badminton Horse Trials (Wednesday 8 – Sunday 12 May 2024) in person, or want to ensure you don’t miss a minute of the action, there are ways you can tune-in remotely.

This year’s event is sure to be as thrilling as ever, with Oliver Townend in the running to become the third rider ever to win the Grand Slam of Eventing if he can win at Badminton. It follows his consecutive victories at the Kentucky 5* last week and Burghley 5* in September 2023. Keen fans of eventing may wish to subscribe to Badminton TV. A subscription to the event’s official channel includes access to the live stream during the event, a preview programme and previous events hosted in the Badminton TV online service.

Badminton’s online livestreaming service will show the live action during each phase of the event, except for the top 10 show jumping which will be broadcast on BBC2 for viewers in the UK. International subscribers will be able to watch the top 10 live on Badminton TV.

The BBC will be airing a highlights programme on BBC2 on Sunday 12 May. The programme will also show the final 10 showjumping rounds live. There will be no Red Button coverage of the event. The only way to watch the livestream will be through Badminton TV.

Fans can also watch the action again via the Badminton TV replay service if they can’t follow the event live.

The 2024 subscription for Badminton TV costs £19.99. This subscription is for this year’s streams only, for 365 days from your initial subscription.

For anyone planning to attend this year’s Badminton in person, please note that all tickets must be purchased in advance. As in previous years, no tickets will be available to buy at the gate.
