This year’s London International Horse Show promises to be “the best yet” with tickets now on sale.
The event, which will be hosted at ExCeL London, will run over five days from 15 – 19 December. The 2021 show welcomed 70,000 visitors to the new venue.
“We’re really excited about the 2022 edition of The London International Horse Show,” said Simon Brooks-Ward, organiser of the London International Horse Show.
“We are planning to build on last year’s successful move to the ExCeL to put on the best Show yet, featuring phenomenal competition, inspirational equestrian displays and a fantastic Christmas atmosphere.”
Show schedule
On the Thursday (15 December), attendees can enjoy the Lemieux Puissance, the FEI Dressage World Cup and a ‘Dressage Unwrapped’ masterclass, hosted by Carl Hester and Richard Davison. There will also be Extreme Driving.
Friday 16 December sees the Under-25 British Championship (dressage), the Services Jumping Championship and the FEI Driving World Cup presented by Eurofip International, plus the Champagne-Taittinger Ivy Stakes and the Christmas Pudding Speed Stakes. The day will be rounded off by the Freestyle to Music FEI Dressage World Cup.
Saturday 17th December features the Senior Showing and Dressage Championship. The Pony Club Mini-Major supported by GS Equestrian, and the final of the FEI Driving World Cup presented by Eurofip International. The Saturday finale is the Longines Christmas Cracker.
The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup takes place on Sunday 18 December as well as two Mini Stakes classes. Monday 19 December marks the return of the BSPS Heritage Supreme Championship sponsored by New Horizon Plastics, plus the Markel Jockey’s Jumping in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund. Rounding off the 2022 edition is the London Grand Prix.
The Shetland Pony Grand National will feature every day, as will the Kennel Club Dog Agility classes.
