Meet Valegro, the professor of dressage, in the flesh at this year’s Your Horse Live. Valegro will be making an appearance after each of Charlotte Dujardin’s demonstrations on Saturday, 9 November and Sunday, 10 November at Stoneleigh Park.
The infamous Dutch warmblood first appeared at Your Horse Live as a five-year-old. He loved the crowds then, and to this day remains a crowd pleaser.
A star like Valegro requires little introduction; Charlotte and Valegro (aka Blueberry) made for a fantastic combination in his competing days, with an impressive list of titles to their name including multiple Olympic gold medals for both individual and team performances, European Championships, FEI World Cup, Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix Freestyle titles.
The pair’s highest dressage score is a near perfect 94.3%, at FEI World Cup in 2014, which remains a world record.
Valegro was retired from competition in December 2016, but still loves strutting his stuff. Don’t miss your chance to see this fantastic horse in action.
