A touching video of a horse and her owner being reunited after 10 days apart has taken the internet by storm.

NHS worker Leanne shared the clip of her Arab mare Aja Ningella (Bob) on TikTok earlier this year and never expected its response.

In the video, 21-year-old grey Bob gallops towards the camera across her open field, clearly pleased to see Leanne who had been kept apart from her horse due to covid.

Leanne accompanied the moving clip with the Black Beauty theme tune, which clearly hit the spot with horse owners and animal lovers alike.

It has been viewed 3.1 million people, liked more than 456,000 times and attracted thousands of comments. Fans have also reshared the clip with their own musical additions.

Leanne has owned 15.1hh Bob for 20 years and keeps her in Huddersfield West Yorkshire. The pair enjoy hacking and do pleasure rides, as well as occasionally jumping.

“She’s such a sweet girl, and so funny,” Leanne told Your Horse. “I never ever thought the video would get that far. She’s gone to all corners of the world, it’s crazy.

“People have stitched the video and seeing their reaction just made me cry even more! I can’t believe that my girl has made so many people happy, but they posted that she did, so it must be true.”

Leanne said she and her wife both cried when they saw Bob’s reaction to seeing them again.

“My lovely friend at the yard, Helen, had been looking after Bob for me, we team up in winter and take turns for the morning and evening at the stables, so Bob knows her well,” she added.

Leanne has since made a full recovery but unfortunately Bob has recently injured her leg in the field and is under vet treatment — we wish her a speedy recovery.
