The 2024 season for SEIB Search for a Star and SEIB Racehorse to Riding Horse will kick of later this month (27 May) with qualifies for the Your Horse Live finals, taking place at Stoneleigh Park from 8-10 November, 2024.
This season there are several exciting additions, including a class for British Riding Club (BRC) members and a new Racehorse to Riding Horse qualifier at the National Hunter Supreme Championship Show in August. The final of the BRC class will take place at Your Horse Live in November.
“BRC horses and ponies are genuine all-rounders and it is wonderful to see a showing class at a great venue that showcases the true riding club equine,” said Head of British Riding Clubs, Rachael Hollely-Thompson. “We are looking forward to celebrating with competitors at the final.”
The SEIB Search for a Star qualifying shows offer opportunities for a full range of show horses and ponies to earn a place at the championships at Horse of the Year Show and Your Horse Live. The SEIB Search for a Star judges and stewards will be on hand to help and mentor all competitors at qualifying shows.

- Sunday 9 June at Vale View Equestrian Centre
- Sunday 7 July at Greenlands Equestrian Centre
- Thursday 1 August at Arena UK
- Saturday 10 August at Hartpury College
- Saturday 17 August at The Pony Club Championships at Offchurch Bury
- Tuesday 20 August at the National Hunter Supreme Championship Show, Addington Equestrian Centre
- Monday 26 August at Hartpury College
- Sunday 8 September at The Defender Burghley Horse Trials
Championship finals at Your Horse Live in Search for a Star (8-10 November, 2024) include ridden classes for BRC members, open veterans, Pony Club members’ horses and ponies and mountain and moorlands. In-hand classes include plaited horse, show cobs, plaited pony, native and traditional, mountain and moorland and veteran.
