Your Horse Live is back under the helm of Your Horse, thanks to publisher Kelsey Media taking on the event. The three-day equestrian extravaganza attracts some 23,000 visitors each year and combines demos, advice and entertainment from top riders and horsey experts, plus showing championships, the very best equestrian shopping and much more.

“We’re delighted to bring Your Horse Live back together with our existing equestrian brands Your Horse magazine and Your Horse online,” said Steve Wright, CEO of Kelsey Media.

Kelsey, who took on Your Horse in July 2020, has bought Your Horse Live from Bauer Media, with the new agreement beginning today (1 February). Emma Bedford remains the Show Director of Your Horse Live and Clare Hall continues as Events Manager.

“This is great news for Your Horse Live’s future with a new forward-thinking owner who embraces consumer events,” said Emma Bedford. “It also feels great getting all the Your Horse brands back together in one stable so to speak. It’s an exciting time for Your Horse Live and Clare and I are looking forward to working closer with the magazine again and continuing to bring our visitors and exhibitor the biggest and best Equestrian Shopping Show in the UK.”

Kelsey has also taken on The Big One, the UK’s largest angling retail event.

“Both Your Horse Live and The Big One have consistently proven to be very successful events,” said Steve Prentice, UK Group Managing Director – Puzzles & Special Interest, Bauer Media Group. “However, our strategic priorities for the publishing business mean these two events will not receive the attention that they and their loyal audiences deserve.

“Kelsey Media already have a strong presence in the equestrian and angling sectors, with a growing portfolio of consumer events, so they were the obvious partner. I would like to thank the events staff for all their hard work on the events in recent years and wish them all success with Kelsey Media.”

Your Horse Live is held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. Last year’s event ran from 10-12 November. More details of exciting plans for Your Horse Live 2024 will follow on yourhorse.co.uk.
