Countrydale Performance Full Seat Riding Breggings
I’ve got a pair of Countrydale’s Thermal Performance Full Seat Riding Tights, and was keen to try their smart Performance Full Seat Breggings which combine the elegant style of a breech with the practicality of riding leggings.
First impressions
Firstly, I love, love, love the colour. I opted for teal which is a gorgeous deep green. The material is silky and lightweight, and the belt loops and classic breech-style give the breggings a stylish look.
Fit
I’m a size 8/10 so went for the 8 and they fitted really well. They are a good length in the leg, and fit comfortably round the waist. The material is very stretchy, so they fit snugly but aren’t at all restrictive, and I can bend my knee easily when riding. The look flattering and smart.
Performance
These breggings are such a super everyday pair of riding trousers. The thigh zip pocket is perfect for keeping my phone safe, and the silicone seat offers extra grip in the saddle. They look smart and are very functional for carrying out both riding and yard chores. The silky material means that mud and hay/ straw easily wipe off, and they wash brilliantly, drying quickly and looking like new. The breathable material means if they get a bit wet, they dry super quick, so you’re not left feeling wet and cold. Teamed up with a belt and pair of boots, they’re smart enough to wear for a lesson.
They’re the perfect mix of riding tight and breech.
Value for money
At just under £50, these breggings are great value for money. Considering you can pay upwards of £100 for a similar product, they are very competitive compared to similar products on the market.
