One of Britain’s top event riders, Piggy March, is inviting people to come and cycle alongside her and have a chat at Your Horse Live!
The former Badminton and Burghley CCI5* winner is offering five minute ‘Cycle with Piggy’ sessions where, for a small donation, visitors to the show can help her train for her mammoth cycling challenge — Cycle4Caroline — and have a chat at the same time. There will also be a few surprise guests joining Piggy over the weekend.
Bikes will be set up on Stand H14, which is next to the Horse & Country TV Stage, where Piggy will be appearing on Saturday at 2.30pm and Sunday at 3.15pm.
Lesson and yard tour with Piggy!
During her stage talks, Piggy will auction off a lesson and yard tour to the highest bidder. This is an incredible prize and the proceeds will go towards the money she is helping to raise for Cycle4Caroline.
Piggy will also be available for signing autographs and taking selfies in the Red Gorilla Meet & Greet on Friday at 12.30pm.
At 11.30am on Saturday and Sunday, she will be joined in the Meet & Greet zone, which is next to the official Your Horse stand, by Paris gold medallists Laura Collett and Ros Canter, plus London 2012 silver medallist Nicola Wilson, who are teaming up for an exclusive demo at Your Horse Live.
About Cycle4Caroline
Piggy and her husband Tom launched this landmark charity cycle in memory of Tom’s sister, Caroline March, who sadly died by suicide in March 2024 following life-changing injuries she sustained in an eventing fall in 2022.
The 1,000km cycle ride aims to raise £500,000 for the vital work carried out by both Spinal Research and the British Eventing Support Trust.
The epic ten-day ride kicks off on November 20 at Blair Castle, Perthshire. The route will take in multiple prestigious eventing venues, including Bramham, Chatsworth, Burghley, Blenheim Palace and Badminton.
The final leg will see riders travel from Windsor through central London to The Savoy Hotel, the location for the BE Support Trust Charity Ball, which will take place the same evening (November 30).
Joining Piggy and Tom are a core team of cyclists including three-time Olympian Ian Stark OBE, Alastair Wilson (Nicola Wilson’s husband), and event rider Holly Woodhead.
