Farrier Sam Dracott
Sam Dracott is a highly skilled UK-based registered farrier with 13 years of experience and he showcases the artistry of his daily work on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Sam has skilfully placed his craft on the ‘content creation map’ and reaches millions of viewers worldwide.
At Your Horse Live, he plans to educate owners on all things farriery, including what to do in an emergency (such as a twisted shoe), how to look after hooves, and health issue signs to look out for.
The best thing about our How To Yard is that horses come too, and Sam will be working with a horse during his session.
Look out for Sam at the Red Gorilla Meet & Greet too (timings to be confirmed).
The Pony Club
Have you ever thought about how a pony learns new things?
Do you believe ponies are naughty?
Have you seen ponies who are afraid of things like clippers, injections, and umbrellas?
This fun demonstration by equestrian coach Christine Brooks and The Pony Club will answer your questions and provide tips on getting a pony used to things they find fearful.
Come along to the How To Yard and find out how to train calmness and obedience, while having fun and building a closer relationship with horses and ponies.
There will also be a fun Pony Club activity trail around the show!
Ben Atkinson
Ben Atkinson will kick off all three days with his ‘Going slow gets you there faster’ demo.
In a world where time is precious, many a horse lover can forget to live in the moment and enjoy the journey. Join Ben in the How To Yard as he shows how adopting a slower pace and calmer mindset can get you to your goals faster.
Jason Webb
The popular horse trainer who has an outstanding reputation for starting young horses and solving behavioural and ridden issues will be live in the How To Yard on Friday and Saturday morning.
Jason will be demonstrating how to overcome common clipping issues in a way that you can take home and apply to your own horse.
